Go see a movie after swiping your Citibank Credit Card (Philippines only)

This holiday season most of us who are using our credit cards to shop will most likely swipe the life out of our cards. Using your credit card is more convenient for some who don't want to bring some cash. Shopping using this plastic card will give you ease in flowing all the stalls in the mall since it's light, and will fit in your pocket.

I am using a Citibank card, and I just realized that I can still have fun even after shopping. I can go see a movie after I shop. Citibank has a promo they called as CiTi Free Movie Ticket. Yes, you read it right you can get a free movie ticket/s. I just tried this recently, and I must say that this is one way of getting your mind out of thinking how you will pay all your debts (laughing). I kinda like this promo since there is a dedicated lane in the cinema's ticket counter where you can claim your movie pass. In short, you don't need to fall in line like the rest of the rest of the movie goers just to claim your free movie pass.

For those who have not heard about the promo yet, here's how it goes. For every PHP 1,500 single-receipt purchase you are entitled to 1 (one) movie pass worth PHP 100.00. "A maximum of 2 charge slips (with amounts of PHP 1,500 to PHP 4,999) may be combined to pay for 1 movie screening ticket worth PHP200." If you will have one movie pass (worth PHP 100), and the movie is worth PHP 180, you will need to pay for the PHP 80 difference. Not bad right?

Here is how I easily claimed my movie pass:

1. I fall in line in the dedicated booth/counter
2. I surrendered the charge slip, and showed them my credit card for verification purposes.
3. And voila! I was asked to choose the seat, and I paid he difference.
   

So if you are a Citibank card holder, this is one promo you would want to take advantage whole year round.
